166th Judicium of Prospective Graduates of The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University
Jimbaran, February 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, once again held its graduation judicium offline on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The ceremony began with the opening, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, a prayer, a report from the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, the presentation of awards for the Best Graduate, the Highest GPA Graduate, and the Fastest Graduate from the Master’s and Bachelor’s Programs of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. The event continued with remarks from a representative of the graduates, a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, a photo session, congratulatory messages, and the closing ceremony.
The judicium was attended by the Dean, the Chair and Secretary of the Faculty Senate, the Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, Academic Advisors, Supervising Lecturers, the Head of Administration, Sub-Coordinators, as well as the 166th batch of prospective graduates and their accompanying family members.
The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si., stated in his report that this was the first judicium held in 2025 out of the six planned for this year. This period’s graduation ceremony was attended by 13 graduates, consisting of 2 graduates from the Doctoral Program in Animal Science, 1 graduate from the Master’s Program in Animal Science, and 10 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Animal Husbandry.
The Grade Point Averages (GPA) for the 166th graduation period were as follows: for the Doctoral Program, the lowest GPA was 3.85, the highest was 3.89, with an average GPA of 3.87. For the Master’s Program, the lowest GPA was 3.85, the highest was 3.85, with an average GPA of 3.85. Meanwhile, for the Bachelor’s Program, the lowest GPA was 3.66, the highest was 3.89, with an average GPA of 3.78.
Based on the Rector's Decree of Udayana University No. 233/UN14/HK/2025 dated January 31, 2025, regarding graduation/judicium at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, the best graduates for this period were Dr. I Gusti Lanang Swastika, S.Pt., M.Pt. from the Doctoral Program, with a GPA of 3.85, awarded the title Cumlaude. The best graduate from the Master’s Program was Afret Amasa Maubanu, S.Tr.Pt., M.Pt., with a GPA of 3.85, also awarded the title Cumlaude. Meanwhile, the best graduate from the Bachelor’s Program was Tjokorda Istri Agung Dewi Pithaloka, S.Pt., with a GPA of 3.89, receiving the title Cumlaude.
In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., expressed her appreciation to the organizing committee for ensuring the smooth execution of the judicium. She also conveyed an important message to the graduates, encouraging them to make wise use of all the knowledge and experiences gained during their studies at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. She emphasized that for those who have not yet secured employment, their knowledge should not only help in seeking jobs but also in creating job opportunities in the future. She also reminded the graduates to stay connected with their alma mater and to actively participate in future tracer studies.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and congratulatory messages from the Dean and other invited guests.
