ANIMAL STUDY PROGRAM FAPET UNUD HAS A WORKSHOP OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE WRITING TRAINING IN A REPUTABLE JOURNAL
The Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) held a Scientific Article Writing Training Workshop in Reputable Journals on Monday, October 24, 2022. The implementation of this activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, namely offline and online. The number of participants who joined this activity reached more than 50 people and this shows that the number has exceeded the initial target of 45 people. The offline activities take place at the AH Building, Lt. 2 Fapet Unud Bukit Jimbaran, and online via zoom meeting. This activity is a form of organizing activities from the grants received this year through the Independent Campus Competency Program (PKKM).
This event was held by inviting resource persons who are competent in the field of international journal publication, namely Dr. Ir. Tuti Suryati, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM. from the Association of Indonesian Scientific Periodic Editors (HEBII) and at the same time as a lecturer at Fapet IPB. This activity started from the opening ceremony which was attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM.; Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P.; Coordinator of the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; The Chairperson of the PKKM Implementation Committee, Fapet Unud, Sub-Scientific Publications, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Sc.; Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unit Coordinators; Fapet Unud lecturers online and offline; as well as representatives from the Masters and Doctoral Program students of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University. This event was then continued with the presentation of material by the resource person entitled "Strategy for Penetrating Publications in Accredited National Journals and Reputable International Journals".
The Chairperson of the PKKM Implementation Committee, Fapet Unud, Sub-Scientific Publications, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Sc., in his report said that "Scientific Article Writing Training Workshop activities in Reputable Journals is one of the efforts by Fapet Unud to increase the number of outputs in the form of scientific publications which is an obligation by every lecturer and student. postgraduate as a prerequisite in the education pursued”. Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM. in his speech hoped "through this activity, the number of lecturer publications will increase which will directly increase the achievement of IKU to improve the quality of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud". This activity was then continued with a discussion session, and ended with a group photo session and closed by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Animal Science Study Program, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., ASEAN Eng.
