Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Udayana University

The Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry after the Covid-19 Pandemic with the theme "Strengthening Collaboration Towards a Superior Faculty of Animal Husbandry". A series of activities to welcome the anniversary began with Community Service activities at Saren Satu Hamlet, Batumadeg Village, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency to socialize Mouth and Nail Diseases (PMK) and Community Service at Pura Luhur Batukaru, Tabanan by donating 2 trash bins and bounty fund. The highlight of the anniversary event which was held on Friday, September 16, 2022, was started by reforestation in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry by planting more than 120 red shoots, paper flowers, and ivory heads. After the reforestation event, joint gymnastics, then a series of competitions were held to strengthen the relationship between the academic community of the Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University, including spider nail competition, paired balloons, rotating the earth, rocking, and sliding chairs.

After various competitions, the highlight of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Anniversary was followed by a semi-formal event attended by: Udayana University Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, PTN Hospital Director, Postgraduate Director, Deans at Udayana University, Head of BPTP, BPTU-HPT Denpasar, UPTD BIBD Baturiti, PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk., PT. Arta Sedana, Bali Zoo, PT. Cau Chocolate International, retired, Alumni, and the entire academic community of the Faculty of Animal Science, Udayana University. The event started with singing the Indonesia Raya anthem, a prayer, a report from the chairman of the committee, a speech from the head of the family body, a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, a speech from the Chancellor, the cutting of cones and cakes, as well as the release of birds, a friendly event. The Chancellor in his speech said that “The Faculty of Animal Husbandry now has a new face. The University will continue to strive to help realize the hopes of the Faculty of Animal Science to become an excellent faculty. Happy 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and wish you more success and prosperity”. The Chancellor and staff also paid a visit to the stand of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Student Product Festival which also enlivened the Faculty Anniversary. This event was also a part of the Discharge of Purna Bhakti, namely the late. Prof. Dr. Ir. Komang Budaarsa, M.S.; Dr. Ir. I Ketut Sukada, M.Sc.; Dr. Ir. I Dewa Gede Alit Udayana, M.S.; and Anak Agung Kompyang Martana, S.E. by handing over souvenirs and post-service gifts, as well as giving prizes for competitions, drawing door prizes, and providing assistance in the form of rice and/or eggs for all members of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
