Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Attends Bali Cattle Bull Breeding Contest in Gianyar

Gianyar, April 11, 2025 – The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., together with the Coordinator of the Information and Collaboration Management Unit (UPIKS), Dr. Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., attended the Bali Cattle Bull Breeding Contest organized by the Gianyar Regency Government. The event was part of the series of celebrations for the 254th Anniversary of Gianyar City and took place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Lapangan Banteng, Tegal Tugu, Gianyar.

The contest aimed to encourage the improvement of the genetic quality of Bali cattle while strengthening synergy between local farmers, regional government, and educational institutions. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, participated in the event as a form of support for the conservation and development of Bali cattle as a valuable local genetic resource.

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry also extended its congratulations to Gianyar Regency on its 254th Anniversary, with hopes for continued progress, prosperity, and leadership in advancing the livestock sector in Bali.
