EXPLORE COOPERATION AND SOCIALIZATION OF THE MASTER PROGRAM AND DOCTORAL PROGRAM FAPET UNUD TO THE JEMBRANA AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SERVICES

In an effort to strengthen networks and increase access to further education in the field of animal husbandry, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) is holding an exploration of cooperation and socialization of Masters and Doctoral programs to the Jembrana Regency Agriculture and Food Service (Friday, 1 November 2024). This activity took place with the aim of providing an in-depth understanding of the educational programs offered by Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration in supporting the development of human resources in the livestock and agricultural sectors.

This event was attended by the Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. accompanied by the Coordinator of the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Wayan Siti, M.Si, and Head of the Jembrana Regency Agriculture and Food Service I Gusti Ngurah Sumber Wijaya, S. Sos and his staff. In his presentation, the Coordinator of the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Wayan Siti, M.Si., explained the various advantages and curriculum designed for Masters and Doctoral programs, which are expected to contribute to improving the quality of livestock human resources in Bali, especially Jembrana. Apart from that, various research potentials were also discussed that could be jointly optimized to support agricultural and food development programs in the region.

Through this assessment, the Jembrana Agriculture and Food Service welcomed the initiative from Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud. It is hoped that this collaboration will strengthen relations between academics and field practitioners and create collaborations that are beneficial for the progress of the agricultural and livestock sectors in Bali. Apart from that, this collaboration also has the potential to open up opportunities for service employees who are interested in continuing their studies to improve their competencies, both at the Master's and Doctoral levels.

This socialization activity is an initial step which is expected to be followed up with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) in the near future. In this way, the superior programs of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud can support the need for human resource development in the Jembrana Regency Agriculture and Food Service and become a driver of sustainable progress in the livestock sector in the future.
