Faculty Meeting of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University Discusses Evaluation and Learning Plans
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held a faculty meeting on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the 3rd floor of the AA Building, Jimbaran Campus. The meeting was chaired by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPU., ASEAN Eng., and attended by faculty members of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.
The agenda covered several important matters, including the evaluation of the even semester learning process for the 2024/2025 academic year to assess learning outcomes and challenges encountered, as well as planning for the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, with an emphasis on the preparation of teaching materials, teaching methods, and strategies to improve academic quality. In addition, the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Unit (UP3M) also conducted an evaluation of the number of courses adopting the case method to ensure that the implementation of innovative teaching methods runs optimally.
The meeting also featured discussion sessions among lecturers to share experiences, provide input, and seek joint solutions regarding the development of the learning process within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. Through this meeting, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of education through ongoing evaluations, strengthening of teaching resources, and the application of innovative teaching methods relevant to current developments.
On this occasion, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPU., ASEAN Eng. emphasized that the success of learning is not only measured by students’ academic achievements, but also by how the learning process equips them with critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. “We hope that through thorough evaluation and planning, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry can continue to create a conducive academic environment that supports students in facing future challenges in the field of animal husbandry,” she stated.
