Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University and BPTU-HPT Denpasar Extend Collaboration to Support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education

Denpasar, August 6, 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) and the Denpasar Superior Livestock Breeding and Forage Center (BPTU-HPT Denpasar) have further strengthened their collaboration through the signing of an extension to the Cooperation Agreement (PKS), held at the BPTU-HPT Denpasar Office, Jalan Gurita III, Pegok, Sesetan, Denpasar City.

The event was hosted by the Head of BPTU-HPT Denpasar, drh. I Gusti Putu Ngurah Raka, accompanied by the Head of the Administrative Subdivision, Aji Fitrianto Abiyoga, S.Pt., and the Head of the Information and Production Services Working Team, drh. Made Rahayu Kusumadewi, M.Si.

From the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University, the Dean, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng, attended the event, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si., IPM, along with members of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), Ni Pande Made Suartiningsih, S.Pt., M.Pt., and Ir. Elinda Luxitawati, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM.

In her remarks, Dean Dr. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi expressed, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Head of BPTU-HPT Denpasar for once again providing the opportunity to establish this cooperation in support of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. We hope this collaboration will bring meaningful benefits to both parties.”

Echoing this sentiment, the Head of BPTU-HPT Denpasar, drh. I Gusti Putu Ngurah Raka, stated, “We also extend our gratitude for the realization of this cooperation. We hope that through this partnership, the results achieved will contribute positively to both institutions.”

On this occasion, a Communication, Information, and Education (KIE) activity was also conducted through the distribution of brochures on Strategic Infectious Animal Diseases (PHMS), particularly Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). It is expected that this information dissemination can be expanded with the support of academics from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

The event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the strong ties between the two institutions. It is anticipated that this collaboration will continue and deliver tangible contributions to the advancement of education and the livestock sector in Bali.
