Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University Holds Curriculum Review Workshop for the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry
Bukit Jimbaran – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held a Curriculum Review Workshop for the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the AA Building, 3rd Floor, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This workshop was a follow-up to the results of a curriculum evaluation carried out by the Evaluation Team under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra, M.Sc.
The previous evaluation highlighted the need for curriculum improvements to ensure its relevance, adaptability, and alignment with the latest developments in science, technology, as well as the demands of the job market. Through this workshop, it is expected that a revised curriculum will be designed to better support the achievement of graduate competencies in accordance with both national and international standards.
The workshop was chaired by I Nyoman Agus Aryawan, S.Sc., M.Biotech., and was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM., ASEAN Eng. In her remarks, the Dean emphasized that curriculum review is a strategic step to ensure that the teaching and learning process at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry remains aligned with industry needs and the latest research developments. She also stressed the importance of collaboration between lecturers, students, and external stakeholders in producing a curriculum that is excellent, applicable, and globally competitive.
The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and external stakeholders involved in curriculum design and development. Intensive discussions and input from various parties are expected to produce a curriculum that not only excels academically but is also relevant in equipping graduates to face global challenges in the field of animal husbandry.
