Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Equips Undergraduate Animal Husbandry Students for the Independent MBKM Work Practice Program

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) successfully held training for students of the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program who took part in the MBKM Mandiri Work Practice program. The activity, which will last for two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17-18 September 2024, online via the Webex platform, aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out the MBKM Mandiri Work Practice program.

This briefing presents important materials such as standard operating procedures (SOP) for MBKM Mandiri Work Practices, management of ruminant and non-ruminant livestock, livestock breeding management, livestock reproduction technology, livestock waste processing technology, feed supply and fulfillment strategies, as well as livestock agribusiness. . The presenters presented were experienced lecturers at Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, such as Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P., Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra, M.Si., Ir. I Nyoman Ardika, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Ir. Ni Wayan Siti, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Ir. I Ketut Sumadi, M.S.IPU, ASEAN Eng, Dr. Ir. Magna Anuraga Putra Duarsa, M.Rur.Sc., Dr. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., .M.Si., and I Wayan Sukanata, S.Pt., M.Si.

Apart from the material, this activity is also filled with discussion and evaluation sessions to ensure students understand the material presented. The Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, in his speech, expressed the hope that the Mandiri MBKM program could provide benefits for students in improving their competencies and preparing themselves to enter the world of work.
