Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Holds Public Lecture, Increases Knowledge About Feed Biosafety and Farm Biosecurity for Swine

Feed Biosafety and Farm Biosecurity for Swine are the themes of a public lecture held by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University in collaboration with USSEC (Saturday, June 1 2024). Located in the AA Building Hall, 3rd Floor, Fapet Unud, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This public lecture activity aims to increase students' knowledge about Biosafety of Feed and Biosafety of Animal Husbandry for Pigs. To support this, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud brought in resource persons who were qualified in their fields, namely Dr. Robert Thaler (South Dakota State University) and moderator Prof. Dr. Budi Tangendjaja. This event was opened directly by the Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Dr.Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. and attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, MSi., KoUP2M Dr. Ir. AAA Sri Trisnadewi, MP., KoUPIKS Dr.Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM., Committee Chair Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Sc., USSEC Team, representatives of undergraduate and postgraduate level students in the Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry.

At the celebration, the Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud said that "So our target at the university is to implement the Tri Dharma. So we hope that with this activity the targets that have been assigned to us can be achieved. Thanks for that. Tri Dharma includes education, research and community service. "Thank you to USSEC for the opportunity and trust in us so that this activity can be carried out at Fapet Unud," said Dr Warmadewi. In celebration, Mr. Ibnu Edy Wiyono, S.E., M.SE. as Country Director of Indonesia said "I hope this event can be useful and of course in the future we from USSEC also hope that we will be given the opportunity to carry out other activities with Udayana University, especially the Faculty of Animal Husbandry," said Mr. Ibnu. This public lecture event ended with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and moderator.
