Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud Officially Hands Over MBKM Mandiri Internship Students to PT Cita Indonesia Group

Denpasar, April 14, 2025 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Unud), held the official handover ceremony for students participating in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Mandiri Internship Program with PT Cita Indonesia Group on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 WITA. This event marked the formal start of a collaboration between academia and industry in preparing students for real-world careers.

The event began with a report from the Coordinator of the MBKM Mandiri Program at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM, who emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions and industry in strengthening students' competencies through hands-on work experience.

The official handover of students was conducted by Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si., IPM, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation to PT Cita Indonesia Group for its willingness to serve as a partner in supporting the implementation of the MBKM Program within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.

The students were received directly by Ir. Virnanda Aprila Hapsara, S.Pt., M.M., IPU., ASEAN Eng., President Director of PT Cita Indonesia Group, accompanied by the corporate branding team, Denny Erlian and Larasti Agustin. In his speech, Mr. Virnanda emphasized the importance of both mental and academic readiness during the internship.

"Together, we aim to provide students with real-world working experience and insight into industry demands. They will be challenged to think quickly and find solutions to real problems. Through this program, we hope they will be better prepared to enter the professional world,” said the President Director of PT Cita Indonesia Group.

This handover ceremony serves as a tangible demonstration of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships with the industry, strengthening graduate competencies, and supporting the development of students who are adaptive, innovative, and professional in the livestock sector.
