FAPET UNUD HOLDS WORKSHOP FOR IMPROVING ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETENCE – YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) has held a Workshop on Increasing Entrepreneurial Competence - Young Entrepreneurs. This activity was carried out for four days, starting from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th of November 2022. This activity was chaired by Dr. Ir. Ni Putu Sarini, M.Sc. The participants who were involved in the workshop activities totaled 25 participants who were first-semester students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University. The first day of activities began with the opening ceremony which was attended and opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University, Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Tirta Ariana, M.S., IPU., ASEAN Eng. The activity was then continued with the provision of material by resource persons who were competent in their fields and the process of mentoring the preparation of entrepreneurial ideas. Topics presented by the speakers included: The Importance of Students Having an Entrepreneurship Orientation; Fostering Student Entrepreneurial Spirit of Innovation and Creativity; and Fulfillment of Faculty IKU Regarding Student Entrepreneurial Indicators. The second and third days were filled with participant mentoring by resource persons. While on the fourth day a closing event was held which ended with a presentation of business ideas by the students. This activity is expected to be able to help students prepare themselves early to become young entrepreneurs and participate in entrepreneurship competitions and the like.
