Fapet Unud Improves the Quality of Graduates through Training on Processing Milk into Kefir

Milk is a source of nutrition with a high protein content and is needed by the body. As one of the livestock products, Fapet Unud carries out training on processing livestock products made from milk. The purpose of this activity is for students to understand the use of milk in general, the types of products produced, and how to make them. In this training, kefir became a milk-based product that was chosen to be the main topic of the training. Located at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Campus, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran, this activity is the second training in a series of Animal Science and Technology Training which was held on Friday, October 28, 2022, and was attended by more than 50 participants. The resource persons in this training are Dr. Ir. Sri Anggreni Lindawati, M.Sc., who is a lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University and has special competence in processing milk into other products such as kefir and yogurt. This training begins with the provision of material, organoleptic testing of kefir products that have been prepared previously, and a demonstration of making kefir is carried out.
