Fapet Unud Receives Visit from SMA Negeri 12 Depok City
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University (Fapet Unud) received a visit from students of SMA Negeri 12 Depok City from 09.00 to 11.00 WITA (Friday, January 17, 2025). Located in the AA Building, 3rd Floor, Fapet Unud Campus, Bukit Jimbaran. This activity is part of a school program that aims to increase students' insight and knowledge in establishing their careers, especially in choosing the right major and study program at university. The group was received directly by the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Information Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP. accompanied by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., MP., IPU., ASEAN Eng., Head of the Socialization Committee to High Schools, Dinda Hanindia Kusuma Widjaja, S.Pt., MP., and Sub Coordinator of Student Affairs, I Made Novi Artawan, SE.
After the meeting session in the main building, the group was invited to visit the Closed House (CH) cage at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus Farm. This CH cage is a modern technology-based facility owned by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, providing students with direct experience related to modern livestock management.
This visit is expected to broaden the insights of students of SMA Negeri 12 Kota Depok about the world of livestock and its supporting technology, as well as help them in determining their choice of majors in college that are relevant to their respective interests and talents.
