Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru/PKKMB) Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University 2025

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru/PKKMB) on August 19–20, 2025, at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The event was attended by 130 new undergraduate students of the Animal Husbandry Study Program and chaired by the Head of Undergraduate Program, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

The program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. In her welcoming remarks, she stated, “I would like to extend a warm welcome to the new students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. Your presence on this campus marks the beginning of a long journey to gain knowledge, build character, and develop your potential. I hope all new students can take part in the PKKMB activities wholeheartedly, embrace academic values, and uphold ethics and integrity as members of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry family.”

On the first day, students received several important materials, including: Higher Education in Animal Husbandry delivered by the Dean, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; Academic Activities and Ethics by the Vice Dean I, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si.; and Organizational Structure and Code of Conduct by Vice Dean II, Dr. Ir. Budi Rahayu Tanama Putri, S.Pt., M.M., IPU., ASEAN Eng., APEC Eng. The next session covered Student Affairs, Career, and Alumni presented by Vice Dean III, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P.

In addition, the new students also received a session on Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) delivered by the Sub-Coordinator of Student Affairs, I Made Dwi Novi Artawan, S.E., M.M. This was followed by a lecture on The Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Supporting Livestock Production Performance by Dr. Eng. I Putu Agung Bayulati, S.T., M.T., as well as an explanation of the Study Plan Card (KRS) and Academic Advising (PA) by Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

On the second day, students received a motivational session titled Atomic Habit delivered by Putu Gede Divaswara, along with a session on How to be I’m in the Future as an Animal Husbandry Student by Al Fatih Sakti Atmaza, S.Pt. The program continued with the introduction of various student organizations within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, a field trip to explore the campus facilities, and concluded with the closing ceremony.

Through this PKKMB program, new students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the academic environment, foster a sense of togetherness, and prepare themselves to embark on their academic journey with enthusiasm, integrity, and strong motivation.
