Preparatory Training for MBKM Mandiri Internship Participants of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, organized a preparatory training session for students participating in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Mandiri Internship Program of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry. This two-day event took place on March 13 and 14, 2025, and was conducted online via the Zoom platform.

The training session was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of maintaining the good reputation of the alma mater and applying the knowledge gained in the classroom to practical fieldwork.

Over the two-day period, various topics were presented by experts in their respective fields. The first day featured a report from the organizing committee chair, an explanation of the standard operating procedures for the internship, and lectures on the management of both non-ruminant and ruminant livestock. Additionally, students gained insights into livestock breeding management and reproductive technology. Interactive discussions were also held to deepen students' understanding of the topics covered.

On the second day, students received materials on livestock waste processing technology, feed supply management, and strategies for fulfilling nutritional needs. The agribusiness aspects of animal husbandry were also discussed to provide a broader understanding of livestock business management. The event concluded with a post-test session to assess participants' comprehension, followed by the closing remarks from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

This preparatory training aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for their internships in the livestock industry. Through this training, students are expected to be better prepared for their internships and capable of applying the knowledge acquired during their studies to real-world industry settings.
