SENATE MEETING FACULTY OF ANIMAL LIVESTOCK UDAYANA UNIVERSITY FEBRUARY 2025

Denpasar, 14 February 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held a faculty senate meeting on Friday, 14 February 2025, at the Meeting Room of the Research and Development Center for Food Plants, Sudirman Campus. The meeting, which took place from 09.00 to 11.30 WITA, discussed various strategic agendas related to academic and institutional development.

The meeting was opened by the Chair of the Senate with remarks emphasizing the importance of synergy in improving academic quality and faculty governance, emphasizing the importance of synergy in improving academic quality and faculty governance. One of the main agendas discussed was Academic Ethics, which is a guideline for maintaining professionalism and integrity in the academic environment.

Next, the meeting discussed the Outlook for the Faculty of Animal Husbandry after Superior Accreditation. By achieving superior accreditation status, the faculty is committed to continuing to improve the quality of education, research and community service. Strategic steps to maintain and improve this achievement are the focus of discussion.

The next agenda is Improving Laboratory Performance, which highlights the need to optimize laboratory facilities to support student research and practicum activities. The meeting also discussed plans to procure equipment and increase the competency of laboratory staff to support the effectiveness of laboratory-based learning.

One other important agenda is the Determination of Lecturer Promotion, although the administrative documents are still in the process of being prepared. The meeting emphasized that promotions to lecturers must be supported by the fulfillment of academic and administrative requirements in accordance with regulations.

The meeting ended with a closing session, where the faculty leaders expressed their appreciation for the active participation of all participants. It is hoped that the results of this meeting can be implemented well for the progress of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.
