Signing of the Implementation Arrangement (IA) Between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, and BPTU-HPT Denpasar for the MBKM Mandiri Internship Program

Denpasar, March 6, 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud), and the Superior Livestock Breeding and Forage Center (BPTU-HPT) Denpasar have officially signed an Implementation Arrangement (IA) as part of their collaboration to support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Mandiri Internship Program. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, including Mrs. Eny Puspani, Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), and was directly received by the Head of BPTU-HPT Denpasar.

During the event, both parties discussed the implementation documents for the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) regarding the MBKM Independent Internship Program at BPTU-HPT Pulukan, Jembrana. A total of 10 students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, participated in this program for one period, from September to December 2024.

This collaboration aims to strengthen synergy between the academic sector and the livestock industry. The expected outcome of this partnership is the successful implementation of fieldwork and industry internships under the MBKM Independent Program at BPTU-HPT Denpasar. Through this program, students are expected to apply their academic knowledge to real-world practices and gain additional competencies from their internship and fieldwork experience.

This initiative also serves as a strategic step for the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, in expanding industrial networks for students, providing them with hands-on experience in superior livestock breeding and forage management. With this collaboration, students will be better prepared to face challenges in the professional world and contribute to the development of the livestock industry in Indonesia.
