Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry Makes a Visit to Bangli Pengotan Farm
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) carried out a visit to Pengotan Farm, which is located in Bangli Regency, on Wednesday (4/12/2024). This visit was led directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., who was accompanied by the Head of the Poultry Laboratory, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gusti Ayu Mayani Kristina Dewi, MS, IPU., ASEAN Eng., and Chair of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS) of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud, Dr. Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud group was received directly by the Head of Pengotan Farm, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra, M.Sc.. This visit aims to monitor the progress of the cows resulting from the grant provided by the Denpasar Center for Superior Animal Breeding and Forage (BPTU-HPT). In his speech, Dr. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi said that this visit was a form of synergy between educational institutions and local livestock in supporting livestock development programs. "We want to ensure that the cattle grant from BPTU-HPT Denpasar has a positive impact on livestock management at Pengotan Farm, as well as studying technical implementation which can be a reference in livestock management in academic and community environments," he said.
