Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University and Sebelas Maret University Sign Cooperation Agreement on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education
Jimbaran, July 1, 2025 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) has officially established a partnership with the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Sebelas Maret University (Fapet UNS) through the signing of a cooperation agreement held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Dean’s Meeting Room, AA Building, 2nd Floor, Bukit Jimbaran Campus.
The Fapet UNS delegation was warmly welcomed by the Dean of Fapet Unud, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si., and the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), Dr. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Si., along with the UPIKS team.
The Fapet UNS delegation was led by the Dean, Prof. Ir. Lilik Retna Kartikasari, M.P., M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., along with the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Animal Husbandry Program, Prof. Dr.agr. Ir. Muhammad Cahyadi, S.Pt., M.Biotech., IPM, and the Coordinator of the Master’s Program, Dr. Ir. Ayu Intan Sari, S.Pt., M.Sc.
This cooperation agreement encompasses the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, covering education, research, and human resource development. The collaboration is expected to strengthen synergy between institutions in improving academic quality and fostering research-based innovation in the field of animal husbandry.
In her remarks, the Dean of Fapet Unud stated that the partnership is a strategic step to support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and to expand national academic cooperation networks. “We are optimistic that this partnership will bring great benefits not only to both institutions but also to lecturers and students in facing future challenges in the livestock sector,” she said.
Through this cooperation, both parties are committed to organizing productive and sustainable joint activities to support the development of science and improve the quality of human resources in animal husbandry.
