Ni Putu Kartika Wardani Master of Animal Husbandry Study Program students carried out livestock slaughtering activities and data collection on the final results of the research on Sunday, 5 February 2023. This activity was carried out in Mengesta Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. At the breeder's stable owned by Mr. I Gede Ketut Nurata. Where is the research topic raised about the PRODUCTIVITY OF KAMPUNG CHICKEN GIVEN DRAGON FRUIT (Hylocereus polyrhizus) JUICE FERMENTED IN DRINKING WATER. Under the guidance of supervisors, among others: Prof. Dr. Ir. Gusti Ayu Mayani Kristina Dewi, MS.,IPU., ASEAN Eng. and Dr. Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., MSi.

Where the aim of the research was to examine the performance, egg quality and lactic acid bacteria (LAB) in the digestive tract of free-range chickens aged 26-34 weeks which were given dragon fruit skin (Hylocereus polyrhizus) fermented in drinking water. The results of this study are expected to provide information to the public, especially free-range chicken breeders regarding the benefits of dragon fruit peel as a natural substitute for AGPS so that it has an impact on increasing the productivity of free-range chickens in terms of meat and eggs produced. This research is also expected to be a reference material for further research. So that by adding fermented dragon fruit peels to drinking water, it is hoped that it will be able to increase the performance and egg production of free-range chickens by using rations that are efficient and do not compete with human needs.
