BEM-KM FAPET UNUD HELD STS SOCIALIZATION AND ASSISTANCE IN SILAGE FEED PROCESSING IN TANGGUNTITI VILLAGE, TABANAN

Saturday, June 24, 2023. The Student Family Student Executive Board (BEM-KM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held an event "STS SOCIALIZATION AND ASSISTANCE IN SILAGE FEED PROCESSING" which is a series of the Self-help Village program of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University 2023, located at Wantilan Tangguntiti Village, East Selemadeg District, Tabanan Regency.

Self-help Village is a work program owned by the Student Family Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University in the work program of the Department of Community Social Affairs where the aim of this Self-help Village is to provide benefits to Tangguntiti Village in order to significantly increase animal husbandry. The self-help village brought a sub-project in the form of socialization, where this socialization was present because it saw problems in the local village, one of which was the problem of the lack of knowledge of breeders about the use of forage around the environment, where in Tangguntiti Village the feed given to livestock was still in the form of direct feed which are simply given to livestock and also in this village do not know or even know what is meant by fermented feed or what is commonly called silage. With this self-help village program, it is hoped that the community can apply and improve the things that have been learned so that they can be useful.

In this activity presented 2 speakers, namely Ir. M. Anuraga Putra Duarsa, M.Rur.Sc. conveyed about the Three Strata System (STS) and Dr. I Made Mudita, S.Pt., MP. about Silage Technology. At the end of the activity, certificates were given to both speakers and the group photo.
