BPTU-HPT Denpasar Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of Donated Livestock to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University at Pengotan Farm, Bangli
Bangli, May 23, 2025 – The Denpasar Center for Superior Livestock Breeding and Forage (BPTU-HPT Denpasar) conducted a monitoring and evaluation (monev) activity on the donated livestock previously provided to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. The event took place on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Pengotan Farm, Bangli, which serves as one of the faculty’s field laboratory units.
The BPTU-HPT Denpasar team was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., accompanied by the Coordinators of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), the Business Unit, and the Faculty Administration Office.
The monitoring aimed to evaluate the progress and utilization of the donated livestock, including aspects such as animal health, growth, reproductive performance, and management systems related to housing and feeding. The evaluation is also an essential part of ensuring accountability in the grant’s implementation and supporting the effectiveness of educational and community service activities.
During the discussion session, the BPTU-HPT team provided technical input on improving livestock management and farm operations. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry expressed appreciation for the visit and evaluation, as well as its commitment to continuously enhance the quality of farm facility management and utilization.
“We sincerely appreciate the continued support from BPTU-HPT Denpasar. This monitoring and evaluation process is vital for us as a form of assessment and motivation to further develop an educational and application-based livestock system,” stated Dr. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi in her remarks.
Through this collaboration, it is expected that a synergy between higher education institutions and government agencies will be strengthened to support the sustainable development of the national livestock sector.
