Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry Conducts Academic Outreach at the University of Mataram
The Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, conducted an academic outreach and promotional session at the University of Mataram on 5 May 2026.
The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Tirta Ariana, M.S., IPU., ASEAN Eng., who introduced the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry to members of the academic community at the University of Mataram. The activity was intended not only to promote the doctoral program but also to explore opportunities for strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions.
During his presentation, Prof. Tirta Ariana provided comprehensive information regarding the program’s curriculum, major research areas, learning system, and research development opportunities available within the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. He also highlighted the program’s commitment to producing graduates capable of contributing to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation in the livestock sector.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of collaborative research and innovation in addressing global challenges related to food security, sustainable livestock production, and the application of modern technologies in animal husbandry systems.
The event received enthusiastic participation from lecturers, researchers, and students of the University of Mataram. An interactive discussion session provided attendees with a broader understanding of postgraduate study opportunities, research collaborations, and academic career development in the field of animal husbandry.
Through this activity, it is expected that academic cooperation between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, and the University of Mataram will continue to strengthen, particularly in the areas of education, research, and community service related to animal husbandry and livestock development.
