Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Visits Pengotan Farm in Bangli and Presides Over the 2026 Management Handover Ceremony
The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., ASEAN Eng., conducted an official visit to the Pengotan Farm in Bangli, accompanied by faculty members and the Administrative Coordinator. The visit formed part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of the farm as a supporting facility for education, research, and community service activities.
The visit was also combined with the official handover ceremony of the Pengotan Farm management from the previous manager, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra, M.Si., IPU, to the newly appointed manager for 2026, Dr. Ir. Ni Gusti Ketut Roni, M.Si.
In her remarks, the Dean expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the dedication and contributions of Prof. I Gusti Lanang Oka Cakra throughout his tenure as farm manager. Under his leadership, the farm played an important role in the development of the faculty’s business unit and field laboratory. Various initiatives aimed at strengthening management practices and optimizing the utilization of the farm as a teaching farm have significantly supported students’ academic activities.
Addressing the new manager, Dr. Ni Gusti Ketut Roni, the Dean expressed her hope that the management of Pengotan Farm would continue to advance through innovation, professional governance, and stronger integration of educational, research, and production activities.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining and developing Pengotan Farm as one of the faculty’s strategic assets in supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
