Faculty of Animal Husbandry Holds Online Strategic Planning Meeting for 2025–2029: Setting the Strategic Direction for the Next Five Years

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held an online meeting to draft its 2025–2029 Strategic Plan (Renstra) via Zoom on Thursday (May 22).

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of the Strategic Plan as a guideline for program planning, activity implementation, and performance evaluation over the next five years. “The Strategic Plan is a vital document that must be developed comprehensively and involve all elements of the faculty,” she stated.

The meeting was led by the Head of the Strategic Planning Team of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Tirta Ariana, MS., IPU, ASEAN Eng, who facilitated the discussion and presented the initial strategic direction of the faculty. In his presentation, he explained the stages of the strategic planning process, including internal and external environmental analysis, formulation of vision and mission, and the establishment of goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

As a follow-up, the drafting team will prepare an initial draft of the Strategic Plan based on the outcomes of this meeting, which will then be further discussed in subsequent meetings, with finalization targeted by the end of 2025.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Udayana University demonstrates its strong commitment to formulating a participatory, measurable, and forward-looking Strategic Plan that aligns with the evolving landscape of higher education and global challenges in the field of animal husbandry.
