Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lecturers Participate in Workshop on Research Communication and Interactive Leadership

Jimbaran – Two lecturers from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si. and Salsabila, S.Pt., M.Sc., represented the faculty at a workshop entitled “Communicating Research in a Digital World and Interactive Leadership.” The event was organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Udayana University, in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

The workshop was held on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at the PISCES Living Lab, Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, and was attended by lecturers and researchers from various faculties across Udayana University.

The program was designed to strengthen academics’ capacity to communicate research outcomes effectively in the digital era while enhancing interactive, collaborative, and adaptive leadership skills. Participants received comprehensive training on strategies for communicating research findings to broader audiences, utilizing digital media for research dissemination, and strengthening leadership capabilities within academic and research environments.

The participation of Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si. and Salsabila, S.Pt., M.Sc. is expected to further enhance the competencies of academic staff within the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, particularly in improving the quality of scientific publications, expanding international collaborative networks, and fostering an innovative and globally competitive academic culture.

Through active participation in internationally oriented academic activities such as this workshop, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening human resource capacity and supporting the sustainable implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service.
