Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University Welcomes Courtesy Visit from the Indonesian Animal Legal Protection Foundation, Discusses Potential Tridharma Collaboration
Jimbaran, Thursday, June 19, 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, received a courtesy visit from the Indonesian Animal Legal Protection Foundation (Yayasan Perlindungan Hukum Satwa Indonesia/YPHSI) held in the Dean’s Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of AA Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This visit marked an initial step toward establishing a strategic partnership in education, research, and community service.
The YPHSI delegation was warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si., accompanied by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Putu Sriyani, S.Pt., M.P., IPU, ASEAN Eng., and the Coordinator of the Information and Collaboration Management Unit (UPIKS), Dr. Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Si.
The discussion, held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, focused on the scope of collaboration, which includes:
- Organizing scientific activities such as seminars, webinars, and workshops;
- Enhancing and developing the competencies of human resources, including students and lecturers;
- Collaboration in research and scientific publications related to animal welfare and legal protection.
The Vice Dean expressed appreciation for YPHSI’s initiative and conveyed the Faculty’s readiness to follow up the meeting through a memorandum of understanding. “We highly welcome this collaboration, as it aligns with our mission to produce graduates who are not only academically competent but also ethically aware of animal protection,” he stated.
The session concluded with a group photo and a mutual commitment to foster a sustainable partnership between the two institutions.
