Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, and BBPTUHPT Baturraden Extend Cooperation to Support Education and Research Activities
Denpasar, July 31, 2025 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud), has further strengthened its collaboration with the Baturraden National Superior Livestock Breeding and Forage Center (BBPTUHPT Baturraden) through the signing of an extension to the Cooperation Agreement (PKS), conducted online via Zoom Meeting on Thursday (31/7).
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., along with the faculty leadership team, including the Vice Dean I, Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), Coordinators of the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs, the MBKM Coordinator, and the UPIKS team.
From BBPTUHPT Baturraden, the Head of the Center, Ir. Dani Kusworo, S.Pt., M.Si., participated alongside the structural leadership of the center.
The scope of the extended cooperation covers the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the form of practicums, internships, fieldwork, and research. All research activities conducted at BBPTUHPT Baturraden are non-treatment-based for livestock, ensuring compliance with procedures and ethical standards for managing superior livestock genetic resources.
In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry expressed her appreciation for the trust and commitment of BBPTUHPT Baturraden as a strategic partner in enhancing the quality of education and student experience. “This extension reaffirms the commitment of both parties to further expand the benefits of collaboration, particularly in strengthening the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program,” stated Dr. Dewi Ayu.
The renewal of this Cooperation Agreement marks the continuation of synergy between higher education institutions and government technical agencies in supporting the development of highly skilled and competitive human resources in the field of animal husbandry.
