Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University Celebrates Its 63rd Anniversary and Family Gathering with the Spirit of Togetherness

Jimbaran – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held its 63rd Anniversary celebration and Family Gathering (BK) for 2025 on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus. Carrying the theme “United in Diversity, Moving Together Toward a Glorious Future for the Faculty,” the event was lively and attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Chair of the University Senate, deans and faculty senate chairs, vice deans, the Head of LPPM, lecturers and staff, BEM and DPM representatives, alumni, partners and sponsors, as well as students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

The series of activities began with a joint exercise session, followed by fun games that fostered a strong sense of togetherness. As part of the faculty’s environmental care initiative, a tree planting activity was also carried out within the campus area.

The Rector of Udayana University, represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., delivered his congratulations to the entire academic community of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry on its 63rd anniversary. In his remarks, he emphasized that the faculty’s long journey should not only be celebrated but also serve as a moment of reflection on its achievements. “We are very proud that all study programs at every level have achieved excellent accreditation. Moving forward, our goal is to attain international accreditation,” he stated.

Furthermore, he highlighted internationalization opportunities through two key initiatives. First, the Faculty’s participation in the Developing Country Partnership (KNB) program — a scholarship from the Government of Indonesia for international students from developing nations interested in pursuing studies and research in Indonesia, including at Udayana University. Second, he encouraged the Faculty to take part in the international ASIIN accreditation program as a strategic step toward enhancing global competitiveness.

“These major goals cannot be achieved without collaboration from all parties. The Faculty of Animal Husbandry is also expected to be at the forefront of developing Bali’s livestock potential, particularly through strengthening the Bali cattle,” he added.

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, also expressed gratitude and appreciation to all academic staff, alumni, and partners for their continued support in advancing the faculty.

The main event featured the retirement ceremony, the handover of assistance from partners, the signing of a handover document (BAST) for research equipment, the symbolic cutting of the tumpeng (traditional rice cone), as well as entertainment and a doorprize draw.

Through this meaningful celebration, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, reaffirms its commitment to nurturing togetherness, strengthening collaboration, and fostering innovation toward an even brighter future.
