Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Distributes DOC and Chicken Feed Aid to Widya Guna Foundation Bali in Gianyar

Gianyar, July 9, 2025 – As part of its community service efforts and commitment to social empowerment programs, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud), distributed aid in the form of Day-Old Chicks (DOC) of native chickens and chicken feed to the Widya Guna Foundation Bali in Gianyar.

The aid was directly handed over by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and received by the Chairperson of the Foundation, Mr. Ketut Sadia. This assistance is expected to support training, education, and community empowerment activities carried out by the foundation.

In her remarks, Dr. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi stated that this initiative is a concrete implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
"We hope this assistance can bring direct and sustainable benefits, serving as an educational and training tool for the children and communities under the guidance of Widya Guna Foundation," she said.

Mr. Ketut Sadia, as Chair of the Foundation, expressed his gratitude for the support and attention from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. He noted that the assistance would significantly help support the foundation’s livestock-based economic and educational empowerment programs.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University continues to demonstrate its commitment to building strong community collaboration and contributing to the development of sustainable animal husbandry in Bali.
