Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Establishes Closed House Management Collaboration with PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk

On Monday, November 11 2024, a delegation from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Unud) visited PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPI) Tbk in Jakarta. This visit was carried out in order to improve the management of the Closed House which is managed by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud. On this occasion, the Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry team wanted to establish collaborative discussions and obtain further information regarding Closed House management.

The Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry group was led directly by the Dean of the Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and accompanied by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Dr. Ir. Budi Rahayu Tanama Putri, S.Pt., M.M., IPU., ASEAN Eng., APEC Eng., Head of Faculty Business Unit Dr. Ni Made Witariadi, S.Pt., M.P., as well as the Faculty Closed House manager, Ir. I Wayan Wijana, M.P. and I Wayan Wirawan, S.Pt., M.P.

The Unud Faculty of Animal Husbandry team was received directly by the President Director of CPI, Mr. Thomas Effendy, who also serves as Chair of the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia (CPFI), along with the Secretary General of CPFI, Mrs. Andi Magdalena, and other CPI leaders.

In this meeting, both parties discussed various technical and operational aspects in managing Closed House, as well as collaboration opportunities for developing this system at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud. This visit is expected to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud and PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk in the field of modern animal husbandry, especially in improving Closed House management and technology.
