Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Explores Innovative Collaboration for Student Activities with Rumah Hijau Bali

Jimbaran, 6 April 2026 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, conducted an exploratory meeting to develop innovative collaborative programs for student activities on Monday, 6 April 2026, at the Dean’s Conference Room, AA Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P.; the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), Dr. Ir. Eny Puspani, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM.; the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry, Dr. I Made Mudita, S.Pt., M.P.; as well as several faculty members from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. Representing the external partner was Mr. Ketut Sudarwata, Owner of Rumah Hijau Bali, located in Apuan Village, Baturiti, Tabanan.

During the meeting, both parties explored innovative collaboration opportunities aimed at enhancing the quality of student activities, particularly those involving field-based learning, entrepreneurship, and competency development in sustainable animal husbandry. Rumah Hijau Bali was recognized as having an educational and practical approach that aligns well with the learning needs of students in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry.

The discussion was highly interactive and generated various ideas, including internship programs, project-based learning initiatives, and the development of student business ventures based on integrated and environmentally sustainable livestock production systems.

Through this initiative, it is expected that a strong synergy will be established between academia and industry practitioners, leading to innovative student development programs that are responsive to industry trends while enhancing the competencies and employability of graduates from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.
