Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University Holds Community Service at Pura Dalem Balingkang
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) held a community service activity at Pura Dalem Balingkang, Kintamani (Friday, December 20, 2024). This activity is part of the faculty's routine program in the context of preserving culture and empowering local communities.
This service was attended by the Dean of Fapet Unud, vice deans, Koprodi, KoUnit, Ko TU, lecturers, Sub Coordinators, education staff and students in the Fapet Unud environment. The service was filled with the handover of assistance in the form of gifts which are expected to improve community welfare. Giving gifts is a form of devotion and gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa (God) for the blessings and safety that have been given. This is also a form of requesting blessings and welfare for oneself, family, and society. Pura Dalem Balingkang is one of the historical temples that needs to be preserved so that it continues to stand strong as a cultural heritage and holy place for future generations. This community service activity received a positive response from the temple officials and local residents. They hope that this kind of activity can continue and provide a long-term positive impact on the sustainability of Pura Dalem Balingkang and the welfare of the surrounding community.
