The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud), is one of the oldest faculties at Udayana University, established in 1962. With more than six decades of experience, the Faculty remains committed to producing graduates who are excellent, ethical, and highly competitive in the field of animal husbandry at both national and international levels.
Through its Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry (S1), Master Program in Animal Science (S2), and Doctoral Program in Animal Science (S3), the Faculty equips students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in livestock production, nutrition and feed, animal product technology, and modern livestock business management. The curriculum is aligned with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, enabling students to gain hands-on learning experiences in industry, research institutions, and livestock-based communities.
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, is also actively engaged in research and innovation in areas such as feed technology, modern housing systems (closed house), animal product processing, and environmentally friendly livestock systems (green livestock industry). Multiple collaborations have been established with industry partners, government agencies, and international organizations to strengthen students’ academic and professional networks.
