FAPET UNUD RECEIVES A FRIENDSHIP VISIT FROM THE FACULTY OF ANIMAL FARMING OF TULANG BAWANG UNIVERSITY
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) warmly welcomed a friendly visit from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Tulang Bawang University (UTB) on Wednesday, November 6 2024. Located at the AA Building, Fl. 3 Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This visit was part of a series of UTB Faculty of Animal Husbandry Fieldtrip activities which were attended by more than 40 students.
The delegation from the UTB Faculty of Animal Husbandry was led directly by the Dean, Novi Eka Wati, S.Pt., M.Si., and his staff. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Students and Information, Faculty of Animal Science, Unud, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P., and staff. The visit event began with an opening session, followed by the delivery of material and discussions discussing various matters related to the development of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at both universities. This session became a forum for both parties to exchange ideas and experiences. The highlight of the event was marked by the handover of plaques or souvenirs as a symbol of strengthening the relationship between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry UTB.
After the official handover ceremony, the group from the UTB Faculty of Animal Husbandry continued their visit to the Closed House of the Unud Animal Husbandry Faculty and livestock pens in the Bukit Campus area. It is hoped that this visit will provide new insights and knowledge for UTB Faculty of Animal Husbandry students and strengthen collaboration and synergy between the two institutions. "This visit is the first step to strengthen relations between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, UTB. We hope that this collaboration can continue to develop and be beneficial for both parties," said Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Animal Science, Unud.
In line with that, the Dean of the UTB Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Novi Eka Wati, S.Pt., M.Si., expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome given by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud. "This visit is very beneficial for our students. We hope that this collaboration can continue and produce programs that are beneficial for both universities," he said.
It is hoped that this friendly visit can be a starting point to increase collaboration between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, UTB in the future, especially in terms of student, lecturer and research exchanges.
