Handover of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Students for Internship Placement at the Bali Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Office and the Baturiti Regional Artificial Insemination Center

Denpasar, 6 April 2026 — The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, officially conducted the handover of students participating in the Kampus Berdampak Mandiri Internship Program for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year to the Bali Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Office and the Baturiti Regional Artificial Insemination Center (BIBD Baturiti).

The event was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, namely Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., Ir. Ni Putu Yundari Melati, S.Pt., M.Pt., and I Nyoman Agus Aryawan, S.Si., M.Biotech.

A total of six students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, were formally assigned to undertake their internship placements within the Bali Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Office and the Baturiti Regional Artificial Insemination Center.

This program forms part of the implementation of the Kampus Berdampak Mandiri initiative, which aims to enhance students’ competencies through direct exposure to professional working environments, particularly in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, and food security.

Through this internship program, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of policy implementation, program management, and the application of technology within the agricultural and livestock sectors. Furthermore, the program is designed to strengthen students’ technical and managerial skills while broadening their professional perspectives.

The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, remains committed to strengthening partnerships with government agencies and other institutions to support the development of highly competent, adaptive, and workforce-ready human resources capable of addressing future challenges in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
