MaggAin Farm Wins National 2nd Place at Jagoan Lokal Entrepreneur Hub 2025, Udayana University Receives E-Hub 2025 Collaborator Award

The academic community of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, has once again achieved a proud milestone. The startup MaggAin Farm, founded by Kadek Agus Dwipayana, S.Pt., a Master’s student at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, won 2nd Place at the national level in the prestigious Jagoan Lokal Entrepreneur Hub (E-Hub) 2025.

MaggAin Farm was previously selected as the representative of Bali Province after passing a rigorous regional selection process. This achievement highlights the capacity and competitiveness of young entrepreneurs from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, in developing technology-based and sustainable innovations, particularly in maggot farming as a solution for organic waste management and an alternative protein source.

Jagoan Lokal is a national program aimed at identifying and nurturing outstanding young entrepreneurs across Indonesia. MaggAin Farm’s achievement demonstrates that students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, excel not only academically but also in innovation and industry-oriented contributions.

In addition, Udayana University received the E-Hub 2025 Collaborator Award from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia in the Higher Education category. This recognition was granted for Udayana University’s commitment and contribution—including that of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry—in building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem through mentoring, collaboration, and sustained support for young entrepreneurs.

This achievement further strengthens the position of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, as an institution consistently producing innovative young entrepreneurs capable of competing at both national and international levels.
