MoU Discussion between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University and the Agriculture and Food Office of Badung Regency: Strengthening Synergy in Education, Research, and Community Service

Badung, 7 May 2025 – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held a meeting with the Agriculture and Food Office of Badung Regency to discuss the draft of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), following the expiration of the previous agreement on 22 July 2024. The meeting took place on Wednesday, 7 May 2025 and was attended by representatives from both parties.

The meeting aimed to align key points in the MoU that will serve as the operational foundation for joint activities over the next five years.

The MoU discussion covered three main areas:

  • Education: Implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, including student internships and guest lectures by local government officials and industry practitioners.

  • Research: Organization of collaborative research, joint seminars and workshops, exchange of experts, shared use of laboratory facilities, and human resource capacity building in research-related fields.

  • Community Service: Joint community service programs in Badung Regency, dissemination of innovative outputs, and the application of new and appropriate technologies to the community.

Through this MoU discussion, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutual collaboration in support of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, while also enhancing their contribution to the development of the agricultural and livestock sectors in Badung Regency.

The MoU is expected to be signed soon and will serve as a concrete working guideline for the implementation of impactful joint programs benefiting students, the community, and the advancement of the livestock industry.
