The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held an Open Doctoral Promotion Examination of the Doctoral Program in Animal Husbandry on Monday, 12 January 2026. The event took place at the 3rd Floor Hall of the Postgraduate Building, Udayana University, and was conducted in a solemn and well-organized manner.
During the open examination, Drh. Tjokorda Sari Nindhia, S.Kh., M.P., as the doctoral candidate, presented and defended her dissertation entitled “Performance of a Continuous Biogas Digester Pilot Project Using a Feedstock Composition of Cattle Manure and Various Types of Vegetable Waste.” The dissertation addresses a strategic issue concerning the utilization of livestock and vegetable waste as renewable energy sources to support sustainable and environmentally friendly livestock development.
The examination was attended by the promoter and co-promoters, the board of examiners, members of the academic community, and invited guests. In her presentation, the candidate comprehensively explained the background, methodology, results, and scientific contributions of her research. The question-and-answer and discussion sessions were active and constructive, reflecting the academic quality and depth of the dissertation.
Based on the evaluation of the board of examiners, the candidate successfully passed the examination with the distinction “Very Satisfactory.” This achievement demonstrates the candidate’s success in completing her doctoral studies while contributing scientifically to the advancement of animal husbandry, particularly in the fields of biogas technology and waste management.
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, extends its highest congratulations and appreciation for this achievement and hopes that the research outcomes will be further utilized and developed to support sustainable livestock development and renewable energy advancement in Indonesia.
