Students of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University Join Cage-Free ToT

Ten students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, participated in the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Laying Hen Welfare: Cage-Free System organized by the Indonesian Animal Law Protection Foundation (YAPHSI).

The program was conducted in two stages:

• Stage I: Materials & Discussions (2–3 August 2025)

• Stage II: Field Practice & Evaluation (9–10 August 2025)

The Chair of YAPHSI expressed the hope that the students would become pioneers in promoting the implementation of the cage-free system in Indonesia, so that laying hen management focuses not only on productivity but also on animal welfare.
