Traditional Leader of Jimbaran Visits the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University to Discuss Collaboration Plans

Jimbaran – The Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University (Fapet Unud) welcomed a visit from the Traditional Leader (Bendesa Adat) of Jimbaran, I Gusti Made Rai Dirga, on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The meeting took place in the Dean's Meeting Room, AA Building, 2nd Floor, Bukit Jimbaran Campus.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss a planned community service collaboration involving synergy between academic institutions, local government, and traditional village authorities. The main focus of the discussion included the implementation of livestock-based community empowerment programs, training, and the application of appropriate technology within the Jimbaran area.

The Dean of Fapet Unud, Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., M.P., warmly welcomed the visit and expressed the faculty’s readiness to establish a sustainable partnership that brings real impact to the community.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to bring the university’s role closer to supporting village development based on local potential, particularly in the livestock sector,” stated the Dean of Fapet Unud.

The Traditional Leader of Jimbaran expressed appreciation for the openness of Fapet Unud to collaborate and expressed hope that this partnership can soon be realized in the form of concrete activities in the field.
